Dear Parents,

Welcome back!  Where did the last two week go? I'm feeling refreshed and ready to enjoy this next busy half term.  I hope you've all had time to relax with your wonderful children this week.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation:  In this unit we look at the Great Commandment and how we sometimes make the wrong choices.  We will look at the story of Zacchaeus and learn from his example.  We will read the story of The Lost Sheep and learn that God always loves us.

During English we will be continuing our learning around Narnia and writing our own version of when Lucy enters Narnia and meets Mr Tumnus.  We will also be creating our own fantasy creature and writing a short report about them.

We continue our learning on multiplication and division before moving on to Money.  The children must keep learning their tables at home!  This week is a certificate week and the children will be tested on Friday.  Keep working on Times Tables Rockstars - the scores are improving fast!

Homework will continue to come home on Friday's and it will be due in the following Wednesday.  The children will have their spellings as usual to learn over the week and then tested on Friday.

We'll be adding our new books to our library this week.  The children are really looking forward to seeing so many new books.  Please keep reading with your children even though they sometimes want to read on their own.

Thank you for your continued support,

Mr Chris Waterworth
