September 2017

A very warm welcome to all our new children and families - we look forward to working with your children and getting to know you over the coming academic year.

There are just a few things to remember!

  • Welly Wednesdays - if your child is in Nursery on Wednesday mornings, please bring wellies - from September 27th onwards.
  • If your child stays all day, you will need to provide a packed lunch.  We ask that if you are providing grapes, please cut them in half so that your child does not choke on them.  Also, there are children who attend St Mary's, who have a severe nut allergy and so we ask if you could kindly not give your child nuts or nut products - thank you for your cooperation.
  • If you would like to purchase a book bag, they can be bought from nursery for £4 - please ask nursery staff.
  • We do have a children's nurse - Sister Lynne Robertson, who is part of the Health Visiting Team and is assigned to our nursery, she will do drop-in sessions from time to time and is able to support and advise parents on a range of children's health issues, for examples, feeding and fussy eating, sleep, growth, teeth, toileting, behaviour etc.
